On MAY 11, 2017 we are hosting a breakfast for Boulder County FAITH LEADERS.  Graciously hosted by Avista Hospital, we hope to feed those who feed our souls!
In March we reached 341 more individuals, for a total of 2727 since March of 2016.
WHO’S YOUR PERSON?  The Institute for Healthcare Improvement is offering a FREE webinar on choosing a healthcare agent.  These webinars are always interesting and informative, so if you’re free April 6 at Noon MST please join!

We now have several places where Conversation Project volunteers will be available once a month on a regular basis, just to show up and answer questions.  If you’d like this benefit for your office, workplace, or housing complex, just let us know. We love to talk!

Learn about the Colorado End of Life Options Act

The national Conversation Project has a whole series of Starter Kits, and has just produced one titled “How to Choose a Healthcare Proxy.”  This is a terrific summary of the ins and outs of choosing (and being) a healthcare agent.

Volunteer Coach Meeting:  April 10th 1-3pm – please feel free to join!

The Conversation Project in Boulder co-founder, Dr. Jean Abbott co-authored an article about a study of medical students learning Advance Care Planning using The Starter Kit. The data shows that a value-based ACP educational session using The Conversation Starter Kit successfully engaged medical students in learning about ACP conversations, both professionally and personally.

Hooray for Volunteers!

We have a dedicated team of volunteer coaches, trained to help you and your loved ones start meaningful conversations around future medical care.  Don’t hesitate to contact us and let us help you get started. “It’s never too early, until it’s too late.”
